Challenges

Aotea Electrical contacted Marais Laying NZ to build multiple EV charging stations for Meridian Energy.

It’s no secret that we’re excited about electric vehicles, so we are proud to be part of building one of the country’s largest EV charging networks!

Some of the challenges are the location, which can involve traffic management, and busy locations (mall, parks and library parking), which required working at night or after-hours.

Solutions

The Marais Laying NZ team has been performing extremely well on this project and has managed to complete more than 10 EV chargers around the North Island.

​

Result

Marais Laying NZ has been installing up to 1200m of new duct per day, finishing projects ahead of schedule.
